Board Members
Paul McAfee
President
Founder and original president of LRWP. He was the executive director during the acquisition of the Eagle Marsh property. He also likes to do a little birdwatching.
Mark Jordan

Brian Troutt
Treasurer
Professor of Biology at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Mark has expertise in wildlife conservation and serves on the Land Committee.
V.P. Business Banking for Centier Bank, Fort Wayne. Brian serves as Chair of the Finance Committee.
Becky Cummings
Retired after careers in Human Resources and production support. She is an Indiana Master Naturalist, serves on the Land Conservation Committee, volunteers with invasive removal, trail stewardship, and nest watch monitoring.
John Goss
Asian Carp Project Coordinator with Indiana Wildlife Federation, retired from Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Todd Laubhan
A Branch Manager with 3Rivers FCU. Volunteer for over 10 years and served on the Finance, Development, and Land Committees. He loves hiking the marsh with his kids and taking wildlife photos.
Thom Maher
Retired Vice President of Human Resources at BRC Rubber & Plastics, Fort Wayne. Thom has served on the Land Committee for the last 20 years. He enjoys hiking the Berm Trail at Eagle Marsh in hopes to catch site of Eagles.
Julia Rhoades
Retired Nurse, Lutheran Hospital. Julia is a long-time volunteer at the Chief Richardville House with the Myaamia People. Julia serves as the Chair of Development Committee.
Rob Seilheimer
Development Coordinator with the Monarch Joint Venture. Before joining MJV, he served as the Development Manager for the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation (Nonprofit of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources). Robert enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and bird dog. He is passionate about habitat conservation and outdoor education.
Angie O'Neill
Angie Derheimer O’Neill is no stranger to LRWP as she has Volunteered there for many years. As a graduate from Ball State University with a B. S. In Natural Resources , she put her love of nature into her variety of work experiences over 40 years. Retiring from ACRES Land Trust, she also volunteers at LCNP, and the Zoo. She is also an Indiana Master Naturalist. Her passion is exposing young people to the joy of inquiry and exploration of their natural world.
Estaban Corio
Esteban is a botanist and educator with 14 years of experience teaching Spanish in K-12 public schools and at Purdue University Fort Wayne. As the former president of the Indiana Native Plant Society North Chapter, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental conservation and community engagement. Currently, Esteban serves as the Bilingual Program and Partnership Specialist at the Allen County Public Library, where he develops bilingual programming and serves as liaison for the immigrant and refugee communities. His work reflects a deep dedication to bridging cultures and the natural world through education and creative programming.
Martha Goings
Licensed Professional Geologist in Indiana over 27 years, Retired high school teacher (20 years) and college adjunct instructor (concurrent 10 years): Astronomy, Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography, and Environmental Science. Has taught Geology portion for Indiana Master Naturalist courses.
Josh Gale
Joshua Gale is a career organizer and fundraiser, currently serving as the Director of Development for Matthew 25 Health and Care. Originally from Illinois, he has called many places home, including Philadelphia, Chicago, the countries of Guatemala and Peru, and now Fort Wayne. You can usually find him birdwatching at Eagle Marsh or other Northeast Indiana parks and nature sites.
